Monday Jan. 16 - Indoor Meeting - We are trying to arrange for Robert & Sara Slee to talk to the group about their trip to Africa last summer, but this may have to shift to the April meeting in which case we will have a social evening of chatting and games.

Monday Feb. 20 - Indoor Meeting - Auction Night - This went over well last year so start looking for reasonable, decent items to donate for Auctioning. (Just watch 'Hoarders' on television for some inspiration!) Books, Crafts, China, Automotive, Sporting Equipment, Household Gadgets etc. are all great items. As an added attraction, Tri-Lakes will be purchasing some neat 'mystery' items to add to the fun!

Sunday March 18 - Bowling event & Chinese food

Monday April 16 - Indoor meeting - Sara & Robert Slee - talk about their trip to Africa.

REMEMBER: As mentioned in previous flyers, there are several fund raising initiatives at the Dorchester Senior's Centre. You can drop off old eye glasses and used or unwanted cell phones and printer cartridges. Foodland grocery tapes create dollars for the seniors and Campbell's Soup, Pepperidge Farm Crackers and V8 Splash labels (with UPC attached) turn into cash for the local elementary school. Bring any and all items with you to the winter meetings.

THINK ABOUT GETTING INVOLVED........

It's not hard to lead a tour, invite a speaker to a meeting or sit on the executive team. Tours need not have wildly wonderful places to visit, speakers don't have to talk for hours, and being part of the executive involves a couple of extra meeting nights per year. We need fresh input and ideas to keep Tri-Lakes healthy so please give some thought to helping out in 2012.
