Winter Newsletter – January 2012
We trust that everyone had a great Christmas with their family and that 2012 will be a happy & healthy year for you. We certainly had a great fall weather-wise and January hasn't been too bad so far. Who knows what will happen before spring?
We would like to welcome new members Tony & Elaine Lang from Hanover and Bob & Mary Steffen from Wingham.
We want to extend sympathy to Leonard Reis whose beloved wife, Freda passed away in November. Your friends in the club are thinking of you.
We were sorry to hear that one of our club members, Douglas Watson passed away this week. He was busy working on the restoration of one of his cars at the time of his passing.
An executive meeting was held at the home of Burt & Marya Pinder on Monday, January 2nd to plan the upcoming events.
Indoor meetings will be held in January and March on Sunday afternoons starting at 2:30 p.m. These will be followed by a potluck supper. Please bring something for first course or dessert as well as your own plates, cutlery, mugs, etc. The club will supply beverages.
*** There will not be an indoor meeting in February. Some members are going to be away and since it is often a stormy time, we have decided to eliminate that meeting again this year.***

Proverbs from Larry the Cable Guy
A day without sunshine is like night.
99 percent of lawyers give the rest a bad name.
The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese in the trap.
Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.
What happens if you get scared half to death, twice?
Inside every older person is a younger person wondering, "What the hell happened?"
OK, so what's the speed of dark?
Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
When everything is coming your way, you are in the wrong lane.
On the other hand, you have different fingers.
