NATIONAL EVENTS/MEETINGS

Each year there are several National Events which usually include a Family Picnic, a Week-Long Tour called 'Normoska', and the Annual General Meeting.

The Family Picnic

This weekend is an event that attracts many members.  Usually held in July, it moves from Region to Region yearly and is in the style of a Mini-Normoska.

Normoska

This has attracted H.A.S.C. members since it went 'North to Muskoka' in 1958 (whence comes its name).  Normoska is actually held in a different area of the Province each year and is a week-long August holiday for the whole family.  It provides an interesting itinerary of tours to places of interest, various events, campfires and good fellowship.

The AGM

The Annual General Meeting is held each year on a weekend in February. All HASC members are elligible to attend. It is at this event that the the new executive for the coming year is installed.
