HISTORICAL AUTOMOBILE SOCIETY OF CANADA February 2009

Events Issue for 2009

Last Meeting
There were 27 people present at the Sunday, January 18th Planning Meeting at the home of Dale and Hilary Faris.  Former Northern Region members Rheal and Helene Larose along with their son attended and were welcomed to Rideau Valley.  Ted Fiander read Bill Birrell’s thank you letter for the gift basket he received and Blair Prior read the treasury report, which at present was at $1,529.29.  Six memberships still have to be sent in and 25 are paid up.

New correspondence was read by Ernie Mackenzie and Ted Fiander.  Gary and Muriel Donnelly were reimbursed for their cost of hosting the Christmas dinner.

As in the past, Hilary Faris had each month of this year’s events posted on a chart and all went extremely well to draft up the activities for 2009.  Dates and events are listed below.  Event details and any changes will be covered in future issues of Clutch Chatter.

Once the agenda was completed, we settled down to fellowship and the usual delicious Rideau Valley pot luck dinner.  Much appreciation is extended to Dale and Hilary Faris for the use of their home, to all those who volunteered to host an event and to our faithful “domestic engineers” who provided the delicious “Waist Expanders”.
